you can try . sub station alpha at http://www.eswat.demon.co.uk but it is difficult to use, I think.. and you must find a plugin for adding *.ssa file in the video. you can use virtual dub and the subtitler plugin but you can only make *.avi files. sub station alpha is very good because you can do anything you want .. change all the color, add shadow, change font size and place of the text.. etc.. i hope I help you .. i use this program, i take a long time to finish one karaoke vcd...the best thing is..... it's FREE!! =)

Hello You can create a QuickTime karaoke file and then stamp it on your video using Premier. QT karaoke will do the highlight for you.

I do try to use Sub Station Alpha, and ˘×have set it to use Karaoke effect. But all I got from virtualdub is plain text with no moving karaoke effect. Do you have a little manual to do it? Thank!

Hi, I also have a same question. That is how can I or where can I get a AE or Premiere plugin that like the TextSub which is the plugin of VirtualDub?

Now I have a file that is a ssa file. You know it is supported by Vobsub and VirtualDub. But I want to use a plugin with ssa in AE or Premiere......

If you know anything or any idea , could you please tell me? Thank you ^0^

one of the easiest way ive done is by using power karaoke... first i have to create a cdg file and convert it to avi... last thing to do is just to overlay the video to adobe premier.. :) seeeee yyyyyaaaaaahh
