Ultron 28 mm on a M3?

Is it possible to get a Voigtlander Ultron 28mm on a Leica M3? If so what kind of adapter do I need? Is Voiglander offering M-mount ultron?

Thanks

They don't offer lenses in M-mount yet but they probably will.

You can put the 28mm on an M-3, you only need an adapter to go from LTM to M-mount. Voigtlander sells them, Stephen Gandy sells them at www.cameraquest.com.

Don't mean to state the obvious, but you also will need an accessory viewfinder. Voigtlander makes one.

Dear Angelique,

All the tech info you need is above. Just an added pleasant thought. With the M3's finder you'll be able to focus all that better wide open at f1.9. Have fun and let us know your results.

Angelique--

I forgot to mention the most important thing. With a double shoe adaptor you can also mount a Voigtlander external meter. With the B or C you can rewind without taking off the meter. The C is the tallest and easiest. The d.s.a. also makes rewinding with an external viewfinder easier.

Have a few tips on double shoe adaptors, if anyone is interested.
