Thanks! Cris

In short : Yes, except for lens with protruding rear elements and can get in the way of the little meter arm. With lenses like the old Summilux 50/1.2 and the Konica 28/2.8 the lens shade blocks focusing. But just take them off when you use these lenses on your CL.

Alex probably meants to say Summilux 50 f/1.4. The lens will mount and focus on the CL, but the CL was not meant for use with it, because the short-base rangefinder isn't up to the demands of such a shallow DOF. In fact, Leitz felt that the 50mm f/2 was even a bit too critical for this camera. The same goes for the 90/2.8 or 90/2; and any 135mm. But if you stop the 50mm down to f/2/8, the 90 to f/4, or the 135 to, I suppose, f/5.6, you are within the camera's limitations. Probably should stop the 35 f/1.4 to f/2.

That's right, Bob. I meant the 50/1.4. Thanks for the correction.

I've found that in a pinch you can focus even a Canon 50/1.2 on a CL. But it requires much concentration. A 50/2 is fairly easy.

I even used an Nikon 85/2 on a CL in my wild, ill-spent youth.
