This is the thread for technical problems and answers. Ask me a question here (Not e-mail!) and I'll get to it even faster than I'd get to an e-mail.

I picked this tidbit off the FAQ

Q: I made some changes to my machine so that when posting or answering a message, LUSENET no longer remembers my email address or name. How can I fix this? A: It's simple. The next time you post or respond to a message, re-enter your email address and name. Then, when you message has been successfully posted, the next page has a link that you can use to store your email address and name in a cookie on your machine.

So, let's see if this is real about the cookie storage...

Hi Roxanne;

The Roll Call thread has all our e-mails in it so I don't know why Kirk e-mailed you for my e-mail address. It's all over these pages.

You can e-mail individuals but my suggestion was to keep everything in the pages so people could stay clear about what everyone had seen and what they hadn't.

If people get started e-mailing, then there's going to be a LOT of re-sending. At least if it's here, on the conference page, it's HERE, and not somewhere else.

Yes, I get to this faster than I will get to e-mail. I'm looking at this constantly, and am signed up for the alerts, so I get all the posts over e-mail the moment they're made. I'd say we stick with this, and remind Kirk that the e-mail address is here (hi K

Cynthis, please forgive my lack of computer savvy. I am unclear about the restriction on email. When we were deciding if this would be a valuable tool, you said that we needed to remember not to email each other. Yet, your first statement on this page says you'd get to it even faster than an email and Kirk emailed me asking for your email address, which I am not sure that it would be okay to email back to him. Please help me understand the restriction on emailing each other. Thanks. Roxx
