I was mislead by Broadway Camera, Vancouver

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Canon EOS FAQ forum : One Thread

Dear Members

I would like to inform all the members who are in vancouver, BC area not to buy camera from Broadway Camera, they deal with defective cameras. My sister bought a Rebel 2000 camera from them, on the very first day it had some flash problem. the same story i had from one person in coquitlam who was made fool by sales rep named "henery" in broadway camera. I will suggest Kerisdale camera is a good shop. I have already made a compliant to canon to cancel their dealership and i have hired a lawyer to file a case in smal scale court to get my refund .

Thanks John Brown

Sorry, John Brown, but you have no clue how to appropriatly handle the situation. Misuse of this forum will get you only one thing: your spam deleted. If you have a problem, talk to the shop. Find out what there policy is in regards to your purchase. If there is no response, talk to the manager, and ask them to investgate. If that fails, talk with the manufacuture of the camera and have them repair it underwarranty.

This is a simple matter, and no amount of making an ass of yourself here or in the store will change that. In fact, you public rantes may do more than discredit you (not that you will be a regular round these parts I think) but could be slander against the shop in question. So, level head prevail; I suggest getting a level head about it.

John,

Thanks for the info. Any bad experiences should be reported. This is a Canon forum. It should be objective and not a Love-In.

Regards,

Nick
