sigh... A while back I dreamed of a jet falling out of the sky in pieces. It was a very strong dream. Then pretty soon that jet fell out of the sky in pieces in Rockaway. Well, I'm no prophet. Don't wanna be one. Refuse to even consider that dream was prophetic.

However, I've been having many other dreams and decided to let you "see" them. Then we'll see what happens.

I forget how many dreams I've had, but every one of them has me searching through a dormitory for something. The first dream was started in the basement. Each dream moves higher up in the dorm.

Two nights ago I dreamed that I was on the top floor. The reflected light from outside was white, like snow was out there, but I didn't look out at the view. I dunno about that.

For some reason, I suddenly realized the person we were looking for was not a man. It was woman. A woman was the real threat.

Woke up in a state of dread every dream, but far worse last time.

Then last night they announce a terror alert, and we're to look for a man.

Draw your own conclusions, or just wait and see what happens.

Somebody taught me how to make italics ... I'm gonna drive you all crazy!

Helen, something may happen to you, which happened to me some time ago, in using HTML bold or italics. I think it was bold, anyway, looked like I didn't turn it off, so I turned it off and it remained on. The reason was that instead of an open tag and a close tag, I had put two open tags. Therefore it took still another close tag to cancel. Oh thank the Lord CPR wasn't on hand to witness my humiliation, he would have gone ape shit.

Helen, part of the reason for this last post was to give you another awesome HTML capability. I had a hunch that underlining was treated the same as italics or bold (it's that way in all the word processing packages I've ever worked with - the trio of italics, bold, and underlining). And so it is, by using "u", you can be italicized, bold, and underlined.

Oh sure, blame it all on me.

I don't wanna be a "seer". First, most people have bad dreams anyway. If you're a seer, you gotta worry all the time if you should warn somebody. Second, even if you do see it coming, it may be coming to an alternate universe near you. So you warn, and you're wrong. Then the same people willing to press coins into your sweaty palms for being a "seer" start calling Social Services to have you medicated.

But, yeah, I've had dreams that came true in the sense that the major event happened with changed minor details. When the plane exploded over my dreaming head, I was in the middle of a shower of huge engine parts crashing hard all around me. Terrifying. That's not my normal nightmare. The dorm thingy isn't my normal nightmare. ( I can't remember why I was so horrified that is was a woman...just that we were so wrong the whole time we'd been searching the dorm.)

My normal nightmares are of finding out I'm pregnant with triplets, or the mule has turned a funny color, or Git is having tea for the Queen at my house.

The reason I decided to post it was because within 24 hours or so, the feds were telling us to specifically look for a man, and my gut reaction was that we should be looking for a woman.

So sit back, have a snack, and let's see what happens.

Helen, my first experience with CPR was on the occasion of my first post at Debunkers in the first half of 99, before I even knew anything about what Debunkers was like. I was having a polite discussion about COBOL with someone named "COBOL Dinosaur" when all at once CPR sailed in accusing me of being a miserable idiot with evil intentions (I forget what he accused me of - spying, stealing ideas for profit, I can't recall). They broke the mold when they made him, and it's a damn good thing.
