Just gotback inside from letting the girls (goats) back in from 2 hours of grazing and they were so full they didnt even want to eat the feed I had put out for them, just picked at it then layed down and started chewing the cud!!

Celia (DW) and I let them out on nice days to graze and eat brush behind our place here in Tx and itis GREAT quality time for both of us to watch them and talk(we are both retired). The girls are so smart and just like human children ,never a dull moment!

We dont post much but do lurk every day.

God Bless and have a Great week.

It's a lovely day and I have enough energy to enjoy working today!

My profit sharing bonus at work this year is just enough to pay for my spring semester tuition at massage therapy school and to buy the books and massage chair that I'll need. Magick is afoot! :)

Someone recently reminded us that we can get a $300 rebate back on our heat pupmp and water heater since we're rebuilding. Thank God for small favors

Went for a drive this weekend into our mountians and stopped for pie at a small little cafe. They serve wonderful pie. (been there before) This is a pretty area and they still mine for gold there. Woke up this morning and praying there will be no terriosts attacks. Sun is shining, cold nights but nice days.

The sun is out!

I finished a pesky article for a magazine that I was kinda dreading (I'm not the greatest at writing about interior decorating)

I worked out this morning and feel good.

I live in the country. The air is quiet and fresh. My cats and dogs and husband and I are healthy.

Well, the car acted up this morning on my way into The City - now that doesn't sound like a good thing, but wait :) I'm married to an auto mechanic. That was a very good thing this morning. Had to go home, as it was too dangerous to keep driving. The weather is so beautiful today. There were three mourning doves at the bird food station today - they come only in spring for some reason, it was good to see them among my other "regulars". Decided to try a "15 minutes only" idea to tackle some big, not too fun chores around the homestead like mucking out the barn, weeding the flower garden that got away from me last season, cleaning out the greenhouse, etc. The idea is you work for 15 minutes only on a particular chore, then switch to the next one, and work a total of say, an hour. But, you do it every single day, and before you know it, it's all done, but you didn't overdo it (which I usually do). This weekend DH and I drove to Calif. to join in the celebration of his folks' 50th wedding anniversary and it was so fun. Have canned two batches of stuff in the last 2 weeks, which made me feel good. Have this forum to share with!

Its a beautiful day in middle Tn. The clothes lines are full of clothes/sheets. I'll be sleepin on sun dried sheets tonight. The pantry's full, the house is warm and our health is as good as it can be. My girlhood friend came from Fl to visit last weekend, my daughter and her dh will visit this weekend and the next weekend we will visit with the Lord 6 times. Not bad for the dreariest month of the year. Blessings Peggy

Picked up the taxes today and we are getting money back! Enough to complete one of the many projects we want to do around here, at least!

1. The boys came back today from camp during this frenetic Carnaval period. Was a good session overall, they said.

2. I beat Vicki and Joel in rummy tonight (good for me, not for them).

3. I performed a wedding for a couple Saturday that had been in a common-law situation for several years. It was performed in a sports club where the groom's cousin worked, and though it rained all day, everyone was chipper. After the morning wedding, we had an all-afternoon barbeque.

4. Since today was a holiday, I stayed home and re-read John Grisham's The Testament, set in Brazil. He did a good job of describing the Pantanal and local customs.

Oops, I almost forgot.

5. On February 14, Vicki and I will celebrate 23 years of engagement, when I asked her to marry me. After one month of dating.
