Are the EOS 630 bodies compatible with the new EF lenses?

Yes all EOS lenses work with all EOS cameras.

It depends which "new" EF lenses. There might be minor incompatibilites with the Image Stabilizer function of some of the newer lenses. The incompatibilities are unlikely to affect the photograph. See:http://eosdoc.com/manuals.asp?q=IScompat
