We had a wonderful holiday. It wasn't nearly long enough, in fact after a whole hour in Florida, my elder daughter and I agreed that we should move there! Maybe I'd feel differently in July, though :-)

I'm sorry I didn't manage to connect with any of you this time, but I'm already planning another trip for my 25th anniversary.... maybe then we can party!

Being native Floridian, there is certain ways to tell when winter happens; 1. Some people actually turn off the air conditioners. 2. That is the day you see the postal carriers wearing long trousers. 3. There is real smoke comming out of chimneys. 4. Spring garden tillings begins. 5. And if there is going to be a life threating, super severe cold snap; the people turn on their lawn sprinklers so their kids can see that it does get cold enough to form ice outside.

As for summer; if you like 105% humidity, misquitos flying in formation, lizards in your slippers, roaches arm wreseling you for that last french fry, then you will like Florida. Don't forget to take your transulator with you to the grocery store where you will hear 20 different langugages, bring your own water theres not enough to go around now; be prepared to have a new comer tell you about how you know nothing or don't do things right. If your thinking of moving to Florida - sorry, your 50 years to late.
