Any cutaway drawings or tear down photos of the M6?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

Just curious if there have been any online photos documenting an M6 undergoing CLA or similar? How about cutaway drawings? Sorry I'm a gearhead. You know how watch nuts like detailed photos of their movements in their timepieces, just wondering if same existed for Leica. I saw the cool cutaway of the R6.2 in the current catalog. Thanks.

I ordered the difficult to find Hove Book "Leica M6 TTL" (ISBN 1- 897802-13-7), and if I remember correctly, it has a great cutaway drawing illustration of the camera's internal workings.

You may want to look for a used copy of the book, 'The Leica Way' by Andrew Matheson (1968).

The Leica M Compendium has one, also.
