I'm going to purchase a non-linear editing system computer, but I not sure exactly what to get? I have always been a Mac guy, but their expensive. I was looking at the viaos 2000 dollar less? But I wanna some input and advice. I'll apprecaite it. Mac or Vaio?

I tried their Sony Viao on a simple project with Premeir LE and it was glitching the whole way.. . .Plugged in a ibook 500 with 640 ram and used FCP on os9. . . .perfect
