So, who has got their tix?

Answers

Not having the joy of a season tix, counting the hours down until the poss general sale. Do hope there'll be some left.

Got mine dougal. I had a panic on Monday as I thought I'd missed the deadline - yet again. Anyway found out the deadline was Tuesday, hand- carried my vouchers to SJP and got the tix in the post on Tuesday. How efficient!

I presume you haven't yet Dougal? Spoke with Josh's mate tonight and he hasn't got his yet, tho he said he'd seen something about contacting the club if they haven't arrived by this Friday. I dunno if he's on a DD or summat.

Figners crsosed ;-)

I put my application in the day after they became available, haven't got them yet.

Hopefully they'll arrive soon.

I've had two sets, one for me and Ben, and also the guy next doors pair for wife and daughter use. If you haven't received I'd phone, mine came straight back

Haven't got mine yet.

Maybe I should have just gone for my usual seat instead of asking for one in the East stand.

Tell me me, me ma, we (Screach, Jonno and me), we won't be home for tea, we're going to SJP to beat Citeeee.

Got mine this morning, two in Jonno's and my usual seat and Screach just along from us so presumably City are getting his seat.

Woohoo! Thanks Dougal.

Hmm - summat seems to have gone awry there! For some unknown reason, my PC seems to have reverted to the old cookie that Ciara set when she was here over Christmas. The "Woohoo" was mine, not hers :-(

-- Anonymous, February 07, 2002

Hopefully a new batch of cookies has been set.

Got mine last week. (tickets that is, not cookies!)

Nestling in my wallet ready for the outbreak of hostilities.

According to this Manc Blue, City are getting 10000 tix. The thought of 10000 doing what they did at Maine Road last season plus some Makems (as I'm told they are bessie mates in hoolie terms)makes me feel quite ill.

-- Anonymous, February 07, 2002

I know a few mancs who are travelling up and they're no bother...nice lads...

I see Stuart Pearce is now suspended after his red card the other night...shame I reckon Bellamy would've ripped him apart...

After we get the Keegan chants and big greeting out of the way (it was special at Beardo's testimonial) we have to get down to beating those twats. Don't let anyone kid you that the citeh fans will be coming up to appreciate the esteem in which their manager is still held, it'll be all the "Where were you..." and aggro around the ground. Bunch of scumbags who should be helped back to the second division where they can fight Cardiff supporters and tell us all how massive they are.

Wonder if the Gallagher tw**s will be coming to watch em.

-- Anonymous, February 07, 2002

Thank f..k for that, Screach: I thought I was supposed to be buying Ciara a ticket and had forgotten...

-- Anonymous, February 07, 2002

According to Blue View they got 5,000 tickets - they've gone on general sale and their are still some available down there!

What do you reckon my chances are on the phone on Monday - anyone have any idea how many have been taken up by ST holders?

-- Anonymous, February 07, 2002

Sorry Jacko, I dunno. One tip which might be useful. Somebody posted on here a while back that an e-mail to the nice people in the ticket orifice has worked a treat. Certainly worth a try. A bit dicey just to quote your credit card number in an e-mail tho but if you could start up a dialogue, explaining that you can't get up there and have lost your voice shouting at for the lads.........

Thanks Screach. I've usually done OK via the phone lines - as long as I'm patient - I was just wondering what the take up has been for this game. FA Cup games are usually no problem, and I got tickets for Saturday by phone as well. I would have thought there would be less available for a league game than for City, especially as it is live on BBC. Just wondering like!

The long journey and the timing, 7pm on a Sunday evening has not put off the City faithful and the Geordies will see a travelling support of at least 5,000. Of the present allocation around 500 are left for sale, with approximately 4,500 already having been sold up to this morning and they are not due to go on open sale until over the weekend. This figure is typical of the City fans with the game on BBC many could have supported from their armchairs but have chosen to get behind the team in St James Park.

Sat up in the gods last time we visited Newcastle was amazing, the fans singing their hearts out and showing the home fans a thing or two - that was with a Premiership ticket allocation of around 2,000 so they will certainly know that Keegan's Blue boys are in town a week on Sunday.

Bloody Hell! Has Keegan signed dougal as well now!? "we"?

-- Anonymous, February 08, 2002

LOL. You may have gathered that this is from Blue View on NewsNow.

The long journey (3 HOURS ON THE ROAD -LUXURY!)and the timing, 7pm on a Sunday evening (TRAINS LEAVING NEWCASTLE AT 9PM AND 10PM, HOME BEFORE MIDNIGHT) has not put off the City faithful and the Geordies will see a travelling support of at least 5,000 (MAN CITY AVERAGE CROWD IN THE SECOND DIVISION). Of the present allocation around 500 are left for sale (SO YOU CAN'T SELL THEM ALL THEN), with approximately 4,500 already having been sold up to this morning and they are not due to go on open sale until over the weekend. This figure is typical of the City fans with the game on BBC many could have supported from their armchairs (AND NO DOUBT MANY WILL) but have chosen to get behind the team in St James Park (OR JUST FANCY A FIGHT). Sat up in the gods last time we visited Newcastle was amazing, the fans singing their hearts out ( A MAN CITY FAN WITH A HEART THERE'S A THING)and showing the home fans a thing or two - that was with a Premiership ticket allocation of around 2,000 so they will certainly know that Keegan's Blue boys are in town a week on Sunday (MANY WILL HAVE THE BRUISES TO PROVE IT).
