Houseing for the disabled-programs

Does anyone have any information conserning Habitat for Humanity qualification requirements? Is there any programs with HUD or FHA conserning assistance to a person with 100% disability?

Mitch, You might want to check out http://www.habitat.org/ for more info and to find a local chapter go to http://www.habitat.org/local/ and enter your zipcode.

Habitat selection is based on need, ability to help (this can be outsourced for those with disabilities) and ability to repay the no-interest loan. Habitat is not a free house, its an interest free house.

Most veryone can help build a habitat house. Through donations of time or money. Through helping with construction or even help provide food for those who are doing the construction. Our local chapter had donated to it this last year enough land to allow our local habitat group to build a cluster of homes in a small development.

Mitch have you looked under the goverment offices phone numbers, we have several disability offices we can call. Keep looking I'm sure there is help.

I am under treatment of the V.A.M.C. for congestivw heart failure, diabeties type 2, ostio mylitis and phimosis with 100% disabilities granted from a federal agency; I need a small farmette where I can spend these last days....
