Thinking of buying a Nikon FM2 - Does anyone know where to buy one and what would the 2nd hand value be like?

you might wanna try a 2nd hand camera shop (can't remember the shop name) next to cathay photo at peninsula plaza. You can negotiate the price if you are really interested in buying. Can look for andrew and ask him to recommend a good & reasonable set. good luck!

Try Camera Workshop at Peninsula Arcade, Peninsula Hotel side.

Saw one on offer on Yahoo e-auction. try www.sg.yahoo.com and search under cameras.

Joey:

I have seen several for sale in Singapore stores-those mentioned above, as well as Ron's, in the basement of Adelphi, across from Peninsula, as well as Camera Arts on the second floor of Adelphi. I bought one from Prime- next to Cathay- for 500

The prices were between s$450 and 500 in good shape. There was an FM2T for close to 1000, which is way too high if you intend to use it, as opposed to just collecting it.

Cheers

I currently have a FM2 myself which I most likely am willing to let go upgrading to another camera. The condition wise is still quite new and it comes with a 28mm fixed lens. Price is negotiable.

With Regards

Hi Joey

I have a mint-condition FM2 with 35mm lens as well as 105mm zoom lens complete with MD12 motor, tripod and flash. Am giving up my hobby and would like to sell to someone who can appreciate this state of the art & collector's camera. If you havent bought yours or know of someone with the passion for this camera, pls email me. Price invested $4000, parting painfully at S$1800.
