In PA we can buy piglets from the Amish for $20.00 apiece.

Pigs get lonesome on their ownsome - either that or they decide they're a person, and adopt the family. Better to get two of them.

Pigliet is French, isn't it? I have goatliets and chickliets.

around here you can get an Amish 60-70 pound "piglet" for $25. A true baby can be had for $10 but we live in SW Wisconsin....

James, I don't know about the lambs but I really would get two pigs. They eat better and grow out faster. Get em before the kids start buying for 4H and about 25-35 would be in the park here in OH tom

Two pigs is a good idea, two or mroe of anything is a good idea. lambs are worth as much as can be gotten for them but maybe a local sheep farmer will let extra bottle babes go cheap. Depends on breed, somas low as free and as high as $40!! 15-20 sounds reasonable for a new bottle babe
