How does one differentiate between a Focotar 2 50mm lens and a regular Focotar 50mm lens? Is the serial number a clue, and/or is the Foctar 2 engraved as such?

Answers

The Focotar 2 will be clearly marked (on the side) Focotar-2. Also the design of the lens barrel is different. There were actually two versions of the Focotar which preceeded the Focotar-2.
