Watching 'The Premiership' last night - shocked at John Gregory. Has he had a personality transplant?

He was wearing a tracksuit and leaping around on the touchline like Martin O Neil! In great contrast to his persona in recent months at Villa. Maybe he just feels liberated from Doug Ellis.

Heard an interview with Gregory on 5 Live yesterday. Said something about 'cuddling'(??) his players. Wish I could remember the exact quote. It caught me off guard to imagine a cuddly JG. Also read somewhere that he has the tracksuit on again because he has to work more closely with the players, be on the touchline, etc. Said he felt Villa were ticking along ok so he wasn't required on the touchline as much so he'd taken to putting on the suit and sitting in the stands.

Makes no sense to me, either. ;-)
