I've scanned over a few of the online versions of U.K. Sunday papers and, lo and behold, there are a couple of references to "United" that are for THE UNITED that play in black and white!

Err Bobby.....the league may not lie..but depending when U look at it, can give you false impressions. I remember John Gregory having a team photo of Villa taken while they were top of the league :-)

BTW....yer in the centre pages of the Star today.....usually reserved for United..

Lancy - Villa were up and down, while we've been fairly consistently in the upper echelons competing for a CL place for quite a while. ManU are top because they've pulled their collective fingers out and put together an enviable run of free-scoring results. We're second because we've had an excellent run, including a league double over Leeds and good wins vs Arsenal and Spurs.

As for the Star...you know I reserve my reading for quality papers like The Sport.

Bobby...there's no doubt that you've had an excellent run... As good as ours in reality. I can't say I understand all these long faces just because the media are offering U little hope of the title.........it shouldn't matter at all. It'll be the sweeter for U guys IF yo do it.
