All,

I come before you today to ask for some healing thought for probably my best friend in the world. She moved to Houston a couple of years ago.

Anyway, I spoke with her today, first time in about a month and a half. She told me that on the 24th of December that she had to have her breasts removed due to cancer that they had found just after Thanksgiving. So far, they think that they have gotten it all. She's in her early 40's, and her health could be better but isn't bad. It was after her 3rd surgery, that she found out that she is with child. Right now, they think she is about 8 weeks along, so she found out when she was about 6 1/2 weeks.

This will be her one and only shot at a child, as they have tried the fertilization method and no results. This was done the good old fashion way. Shocked her, her husband, and even her doctors.

Please hold her in your thoughts that the drugs she was on before they found out about her pregnancy didn't harm her baby. She has about 3 or 4 more surgerys left to go to complete the rebuilding.
