New to the Poodle World

I have a new Poodle pup that I rescued and then adopted. I am having a great deal of trouble figuring out how old she is. I was told she was 1 year old, but I have had her since 12/24/01 and she has almost doubled in size since then: she is a toy poodle weighing now 6 1/2#s. She weighed 5#s when I first rescued her. She was covered with Mange, but is now totally cured.

I am told she has all her teeth, her puppy coat, etc. Her toe pads were all pink when I rescued her, but they have now turned black. Is there a certain time in Poodle puppies that that color change takes place?

Are there other signs to look for that can help me decide what her age might be? Also, her tummy is a dark grey as is the inside of her ears, though not as dark as her tummy. Her chest is pinker...Don't know if that has any meaning either.

Any help someone can give me understanding the above, will be greatly appreciated.
