I was wondering if anybody know how to colour the fur of a white poodle. I would like to colour my poodle pink and there are no groomers in my area that does this.

We use food colouring on our maltese, we give her a shampoo, then use the non-toxic food colouring afterward. She looks so cute, and you can pick a different colour every week (it wears off).

I have never tried to color a poodle. But if I were in the market for that, I would do what the teen agers do and try a unsweetened kool-aid rinse. It comes out with soap and water but may prove a problem if the dog comes in from the rain to lay on the sofa. It sounds like fun though. I would be interested in what some of the groomers say the proper way to do it is.

I have colored my apricot poodle blue before and what i did was put her in the bathtub then put food coloring on her then i put viniger on her. it worked for me!

i dont think you should use kool-aid my hair dresser told me not to let my daughter do it because it actually stains the hair is doesnt just wash out. so i would go with the food coloring
