Super Bowl Recipes - Today is Deserts

Today's Super Bowl recipes are for deserts. Here are some of mine, please post your favorites. Hey, we need more recipes - super bowl ones are doing too well.

WATERGATE CAKE

1 box white cake mix
1 cup oil
1 cup 7-UP or Sprite
1 pkg. instant pistachio pudding
2 eggs

Frosting:
2 pkgs. dream whip
1/2 c. coconut
1 1/2 c. cold water
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. instant pistacho pudding

Whip frosting ingrediants together and refrigerate while preparing cake. For cake, mix well and, if desired, you can add 1 cup chopped nuts and/or 1/2 c. coconut. Bake in a 9x13 pan at 350 degress for 35 min. Frost.


EASIEST CHERRY COBBLER IN THE WORLD - no mixing!

1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix
1/3 cup butter or margarine - melted
1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 cup cream

Grease a 9x9 cake pan. Sprinkle cake mix on bottom then drop pie filling evenly on top. Drizzle the butter over all. Pour cream on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. to one hour until done.


MICROWAVE CARMEL CORN

1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon baking soda

Put all ingrediants except soda in glass microwaveable bowl. Microwave 1 min. Stir. Cover and let set 2 minutes. Add soda and stir. Put 4 quarts of popped corn in a paper bag. Add the carmel mixture and shake well. Microwave (bag and all) 1 min. Shake again and serve.

German chocolate upside-down cake

1 small bag coconut [frozen kind]1 cup pecan pieces, 1 box german chocolate cake mix[ mix as directed] 1 8oz package cream cheese, 1 box powdered sugar, 1 stick butter or margarine,

heavy grease bottom of pan [9 by 13] Sprinkle coconut on bottom, top with pecans. Prepare cake mix and pour over coconut and nuts. Combine butter, sugar and cream cheese, spread over cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min.

EASY STRAWBERRY TRIFFLE

1 angel food cake

2 pkgs frozen strawberries (fresh are fine)

1 pkg instant vanilla pudding mix (prepared as on package)

2 cartons cool whip (prepared)

In large bowl (preferrably glass) place a layer of cubed cake, top with a layer of strawberries, cover with a layer of the pre-mixed pudding, top with a layer of cool whip. Repeat layers and end with the cool whip on top. Fresh strawberries can be used to decorate the top.

Easy Crisps:

Spay baking dish
Drain large can of peaches and put in dish(I use frozen peaches or other fruit)

Mix together til crumbly:
1 stick of butter
1c.flour
1/2 c. sugar, for berry crisp add more sugar to berries
Spread over peaches
Bake at 425* approximately 45 min. (my oven's tempermental:~}
Enjoy! Maybe add ice cream or milk
