I would really really like to know how this man died. He sort of fasinates me with his poems and stories. He seems like the kind of person that was very troubled by his life.

Check out www.eapoe.org for a reasonable account. When Poe was found sick and delirious in odd clothes there was a missing period open to speculation. That he was pressed into a voting scam gang and plied with drink seems reasonable. His other accumulated weaknesses due to alcoholism and poverty and considerable stress after Virginia's death were the preconditions. The treating doctor and scandalmongers clouded over the facts considerably.

there are a few ways that people say poe died, one of them that makes the most sence is that he dided of rebies, considering he was found and didn't know were he was and seemed to see things when those are the simtoms of rabies, he loved cats and if he did die of rabies it was probobly because one of his cats bit him. another thing that says it was probobly rabies is it was winter when he died and in the winter are when most of the animals of rabies are most active, i'm not quite sure why might want to look up on it, another way it is said that he died was that he had drunk to much, but this is unlikly considering in the records it says he showed no sign of to much drinking. One other way that i have heard of is and Opium over dose, but Opium is like Heroin, if poe had had a Opium overdose he would simply just fall asleep and die, not rave on for 3 days before finaly dieing.

No one really knowes how Poe died. Some say that he died of congestion of the brain. although he could have died toxation, he drank to much. Poe was very troubled by life. He married his 13 yr old cousin, his parents both died when he was three. He couldn't ever get his foster fathers approvel. And he got kicked out of the University of Virginia. No one knows exactly how Edgar Allan Poe died. Sorry.

He actually drowned. He was drunk and passed out in the street, unfortunately for him he was face down in the curb and there was a rain puddle there. It's true that he was an on-again-off-again alcoholic and it's also true that he was forced to go from town to town to vote for people in elections.
