How long do you think it will take?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : The Christian Church (Real) : One Thread

For them on that forum to discover that they can post what they want here without having it deleted?

???????????????????????

That's not the greatest feature. I've asked for somethings individually damaging and regretful to be removed and the moderator hasn't even responded to my requests to take action -- not even the courtesy of a reply.

One day, someone, maybe you, is in a fit of anger going to post something regretable. Then two people will be stained, for as long as the forum and its mirrors if any shall exist. Sitting there in the archives for all to see.

That's why we need a watch on our lips (and thoughts).

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Or a woman.

I am sorry I offended any of you, and I wish we could get to some substantive subject.

Blessings,

Connie,

Now that (your initial post) is funny!! Have you read the "About" section of this forum?

"This forum exists to give a voice to those that are being silenced by Gabbard and gang at the cult site (falsely called) "the christian church". They manipulate threads by deleting Scriptural answers to their legalistic interpretations of the Bible. They delete people they simply "don't like" and are afraid to dialogue with. The only people who get deleted here will be those that silence others, or who waste vast quantities of electrons on childish drivel. (you know who you are). MY delete policy towards those that censor others will be just as arbitrary and subjective as their policy (Using the measure on them that they use for others [Matt 7:2]) Let them see how it feels to be unable "to give an answer for the hope that is within you"."

Hi, D. Lee,

Well, of course, I see nothing wrong with giving a voice to those who have been silenced by Mr. Gabbard. In fact, I praise it.

And of course, as the moderator has to keep some order, he has to be able to delete offensive posts.

Mr. Babbard silenced the Biblical posts and encouraged the posts which are in error.

So, as I said, we should get into more substantive discussion and off reprisals.

That is why I have not posted something to explain my position. Suffice it to say, that if you will go back, you will see that I posted ONE PARAGRAPH from that other forum and the reason I did it was because I sincerely thought that E. Lee was becoming repentant. I did not dream it was a phony post.

Someone else posted all of the other (private information), and then blamed me for it. I apologized for everything I did, but I am waiting for an apology and acceptance of my apology from that other person.

It is yet to come.

But I don't have to have an apology.

As for the first posts to this forum, some of it was posted in amusement and humor. I think a Merry Heart does good like a medicine.

And you can't say that it is not true.

But I sincerely hate to fight and argue; and I love to discuss.

Blessings,

Connie
