They come a Trottering into Toon

Bolton at home next, vitally important, as every game is now.

Not only a should win but a must win.

Will we continue where we left off in the second half at WHL or will we be embarrased by an inability to control Ricketts?

I'm going for a 2-0 win, Solano and Shearer to score the goals.

Any other Predictions?

I don't see us losing.........although having said that. I don't rate Ricketts, don't know why just don't. They have to get points so they'll come at us which will suit us fine coz then bellamy can miss his usual one on one before scoring.

I think Ricketts plays a lot like Heskey did when he was on form (a brief 1 week period I think)

Good finisher, strong and pretty good in the air.

Not a nice name though, I'd rather be called Paul Heskey than Paul Ricketts.

The ricketts thing makes me laugh as it reminds me of being at Blackburn in the FA cup (not the Gullit one the previous year) when Shearer was unfit and Saha scored.

We were right next to the Blackburn fans and a group of Toon fans kept singing 'you've all got rickets'. Some oblique reference to it being a mill town rather than anything to do with the player though! Still makes me laugh when I remember it.

Lots of vitamin D before Saturday then we won't be troubled by ricketts.

We need at least a double dose of D.....Distin and Dabizas.

We need to be careful in this match: they are apparently the draw specialists of the league and you know how we do against teams that come for a draw. Also, they were a tad unlucky in getting beaten 4-0 by us earlier in the season. We should win but we will need to keep focused. It's about time Solano and Robert scored.
