Approx. 180 # Red Wheat Berries for milling.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : barter board : One Thread

I have four-45# buckets of red wheat to barter. I have found that my family prefers the white berries and need to get rid of these. I do want to inform those of you out there, that the red berries contain tanic acid and hinder the absorption of iron into the body. So if you are anywhere close to being boarderline enemic please don't use red wheat. If you are anywhere in the lower penn. of Michigan we could swap these in person somewhere.

I am very intrested in antique baskets, I homeschool my girls and use ABEKA, so if you have some cirriculum in good shape I would be intrested in that. My husband works out and would love some 25 # dummie bells in cast iron. Also if it is someone near where I live and they know about stripping and staining decks, just a good days help this summer would be greatly appreciated.

What part of Michigan? Anywhere near Battlecreek? Or better yet Vermontville? What years in ABEKA? Cindy

Cindy, I live in Oceana County, 13 miles east of Hart(off US31). My girls are entering 5th grade next year as well as K5. Although I use strickty ABEKA, I also use only current cirr. That way all the test books are up to date. Let me know what you think.
