The following is a link to a current essay from John Hathaway who is part of a specialized mutual fund. I do not have any assets invested with them, but I do read his occasional commentary about the economy. I find him to be very conservative, believe it or not, nothing like old Gary North. So when he starts to get alarmed about something, and is willing to put his concerns into a posting, it means it is time for an investor to pay attention, in my opinion. Hathaway represents the great middle class, middle ground, perception. Other alarm sounders had been pounding the bells long before Hathaway felt "comfortable" joining their side of the argument. As I said, very conservative guy.
