What do you plan on doing the first full, warm spring day?

I plan to enjoy the sunshine and be grateful that my favorite season has started.

My new apartment comes with an overgrown garden. Rumor has it that an old tenant once took care of it, and digging under the vines and bushes, I see remnants of the old garden. I plan to hire several helpers, clear it out, and put in vegetables, a place to sit and have a drink, and a compost pile. Once it's done, I'll invite my friends, we can sit in the place to sit with a drink, suitably distant from the compost pile, and watch the vegetables grow.

The thaw, spring, the time I come alive again after the dim, gloomy and freezing winter. I will scan warm places on the ground looking for daffodil sprouts peeking up at the world. I will treasure the first warm zephyrs of the year. Go around twitching the twigs to see if they are limber yet. Look in the sky to see the change in clouds to the start of summer puffs. Somewhere in the spring I will enjoy to the max the glorious Forsythia bushes in their energizing, cheerful yellow trumpets. Think about old romances (the sap rising) and again the memory of my present romance with Heather takes me back to our first dates, learning about each other. Obviously, I go a bit daft when it begins to warm up and I can see that once more joyful life goes on.
