Hi, I am new to the list and have enjoyed reading and learning from the messages. Thanks! I recently bred my beloved sp, and am considering keeping a puppy. However, I've heard some tales of the mother's personality changing radically when an offspring is in the same house, especially when the offspring is another female. I was told that it's not as bad keeping a male. Is this a myth, or is there any truth to it? Anyone had experience of this?

Mom and daughters get on very well together. If Mom is not splayed then you would have a problem keepng a son ,would you agree? Do make certain your pups go to good private homes,and don't end up in a puppy mill. Lots of Luck. Heather.
