Poor Amber y'all. I wish I could mail her some Paxil.

She needs a truckload. She's afraid to eat in front of people. I am all about being sensitive to the mentally ill - you know, since I am one of them - but she needs some serious help.

Where are y'all fools?

Teri, I forgot to tell you yesterday that we're going to see Ricky Skaggs, too.

So, I have ground beef to cook tonight and I want to do something interesting with it. I mean, more interesting than George Foreman burgers. They are very delicious, indeed, but am feeling the need to be slightly more creative. Suggestions?

Last night, I just refused to go to the store, even though I didn't want to cook anything we had in the apartment. So I made this grilled chicken asian rice stir fry invention that was weird, but ended up being pretty good.

Al - when Teri was making those beggars' purses just the meat was so good. I think it was just ground beef, kidney beans drained and tomato paste. And chili pepper. You could make tacos?

Did yoga again. It's hard.

Yes... a good idea. That would be yummy, as a matter of fact...

Damn that meat WAS yummy.

From like 130 to 4 I get so tired. So So tired. But then around 430ish I get this huge second wind. This is why I work out in the evenings.

I'm pretty good at making meet, uh huh.

Y'all, I just did the most interesting luncheon. It was for the LegisLadies, all the spouses (one husband came) of the Georgia legislature. It was all ladies-who-lunch. Very interesting stuff. We have these great goodie bags from the pharmaceutical companies that all the ladies love. There's one box that has business card holders from Paxil, but it looks like it's actually a bottle of Paxil. Some of the ladies were all, "Uh, is this really Paxil? I don't think I should take this home!"

I should mail Amber some of that Paxil, I swear.

MEAT, I mean.

I just ate a bunch of Honey Nut Chex Mix - the perfect thing to eat if one is craving cereal, but can't have any.

I'm trying to remember what's in that meat. Cumin, chili powder, kidney beans, salt and pepper, onions, and I think that's all.

God, I think chili powder is my favorite spice.

Oh - Allison! I got the cookbook in the mail. I'm making a saffron rissoto tonight. I'll let you know how it goes.

Amber needs psychiatric help more than anyone I've ever seen (or not seen, I suppose, but read about).

Oh yes, there are green onions in there too.

Maybe we should mail her some Paxil. But then she'd think it was anthrax and fade even farther into her craziness. She'd stop leaving her ROOM. I wonder if she rides in cars... or literally won't leave the house.

Somehow, we have to find out. And then we have to go kidnap her. Because it may be that her mother is the crazy one.

She's a Stephen King short story waiting to happen. Mark my words.

Where is it that y'all are seeing all this Amer craziness?
