What are we going to do about Poyet tomorrow night?

He ALWAYS scores against us...we can't live with him, can we club together for a hit man?

But seriously...do we man mark him, ignore him and hope we outscore them?

I don't think our pattern of play would facilitate man marking. Hopefully, they will have enough to worry about with Robert, Dyer and Bellamy.

Perhaps he'll twist his ankle getting out of bed? That would be nice.

Do what I did when we played them at home; stick a fiver on Poyet to score at any time during the game, then when it happens (as it inevitably will), the pain will be eased by about .001 percent.

Good call Dave....down the bookies at lunchtime I think...

What odds did you get, Dave?

Lousy. I think he earned me about £3 on a fiver wager. You should get about 8's on first or last scorer but he'd only go and score number 2 in a 3 goal defeat. I hate the tw@t.

I'd man mark him, play 3 at the back and err.... no hang on a minute we tried that. Ignore him. We will win.

Whatever our game plan to counteract Poyet, Sheringham etc, it musn't stifle our own natural game. The only way we'll win is if we put them under pressure. If we're in two minds, passes will go astray, hesitation will lose us possession and mistakes will be made at the back. Keep it simple and build on the confidence we have in our own ability.

Poyet will score. We need to score more than them. It's pointeless trying to man mark him because Ferdinand and/or Sheringham will only score. We need to score more than them.

Didn't we man-mark him last time and the bu**er STILL scored?!
