And did you get your pub sorted? The Yids reckon The Park is your best bet.

I'll be there. The Park is definitely and option, although I'll go with the flow.

Where's The Park? How far from WHL? Will they let us back in at 10:00pm after we've stuffed them? Am I hallucinating? Will I wear out the ? key on my keyboard?

Our lot are meeting in The 2 Brewers, don't ask me where it is mind, they haven't furnished me with that information yet - maybe they're trying to tell me something (or not).

If you do a search for 'Two Brewers Tottenham' it comes up with a gay pub in Tottenham Court Road. How good are your friends, Dave? :-)

The Park is half a mile no more. Its at the top of the Park Lane and you can see the top of the stands. Or so I am tolda anyway

Pete, sounds like Dave's friends are very good. Brings a whole new meaning to 'man on.' Looks like The Park then.

Thanks for the tip Peter, I think a couple of phone calls are in order.

Pete, you've been looking at the two brewers in soho ;))

The two brewers in scotland green is the one that DSS is on about....you still meeting there Dave? Bruce Grove is the closest station? Terry/Pete shall we meet there? what time?

Any more questions I can ask?

Get to the top ya bugga!

I was just winding DSS up about the Two Brewers :-). Northumberland Park and Bruce Grove are on different branches. Any idea which one is more frequent?

We should also all synchronise mobiles for a post match pub - every pre-match pub I have been too has been closed after the game - even the one in Putney, miles away from the Fulham ground. Hmmm...I can see a common denominator here. ;-)

According to the railtrack website you can get to Bruce Grove every 15 mins and it takes 15 mins....I'd prefer to go to the brewers as it makes it easier for me to meet up with Bob and collect my ticket in the Beehive...we can start in liverpool street, wetherspoons (hamilton hall) about 5.30 and make a move from there?

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

Sounds good. If you could hang on a bit past 5:30 as that'll be pushing it. Definitely make it before 6 though, hopefully earlier.

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

For you....anything! ;)) i'll still be there for 5.30 should either of you make it for then....

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

Anything? Now let me think...;-))

You REALLY were looking at the Two Brewers in Soho weren't ya ;))

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

Hello boys. Want to make it a threesome? Gav, I'll be there at 5:30. Remind me, where/what is Hamilton Hall? Not a subsidiary of Cameron Hall is it? What's the beer like, hopefully not that fizzy bottled stuff you drink?

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

Pete, I can't find your mobile number, an you email it? Gav, your mobile gonna be working okay tomorrow?

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

Hamilton Hall is attached to Liverpool Street station....Broadgate exit, up the escalators and you're there...yup the mobile will be on....can't guarantee it'll be working though! poxy thing...

Anyone thinking of getting a nokia 8310.....don't bother! ;))

Beer should be ok...it's a wetherspoons so it's cheap and they usually have guest beers on etc....

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

Mail your number to me as well pete and i'll text you mine...

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

Hamilton Hall...the starting point of many a disaster. Nudge someone for me, Gav :-)

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

I most definitely will Mr Bobsta...

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

So we've sorted pre-match...what about POST-match? chances are that half of these pubs will have shut up....

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

If the 2 Brewers is closed, it'll probably be a case of heading south until we find an alternative and contacting each other on mobiles. I'd prefer to do that than queue for hours to get on a train back to Liverpool St.

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

Fair enough but it might be just as easy to meet outside the ground after the game and wander off in a little group :))

Oh if that ticket Stu has got goes to Min we won't need to be careful....he can protect us all ;))

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

Well seen Min can't post at the minute Gav, or he'd slap the back of your legs. Where is he? How's he getting down, or is he already down? Will he be at Liverpool Street? So many questions, so few answers.

-- Anonymous, January 29, 2002

He's currently working in camden and yes he'll be in liverpool street at 5.30....might be a little bit awkward to pick up both tickets from different pubs and go to the two brewers but we'll sort something out...
