helen, as I recall, he dropped his treatment to go off with the elders for three weeks in the mountains.

I've been concerned about a disconnect I tend to see on the other boards, folks who are in principle against environmental controls, yet assume if TSHTF that they will be able to find all the wild fish and fowl and deer and stuff they think they need for their survival. Those natural resources are in no way guaranteed. I don't like the idea of controls, but on environmental matters I have seen some of the damage that tends to come from a combination of greed and/or well- intentioned ignorance.
