Just watched MotD. Pretty much a bunch of cr@p, apart from the result at The Riverside and a certain Paul Gascoigne at Goodison. He may not do it very often (I can empathise with that), but when he does it, he does it gloriously (I wish!).I was really chuffed to see him play so well today. If only he'd got his heed sorted oot a few years ago. Well, as second best, let's hope he can keep it sorted for another year or so - except when he's playing us, that is. Well done Gazza. A joy to behold. And a nice interview at the end :-)

Cue endless speculation about whether he should be included in the World Cup squad!!

Should have gone to the last one & should go to this one.We were down to ten men v the argies and the god squad had the likes of our very own Bobby Lee on the bench, we all know Bobby can do a job but Gazza would have given a new dimension for half an hour. Oh, and he doesn't miss pens.

Sorry Dave - I can't see Gazza's form (and particularly his fitness) lasting until the summer. Mind, having said that, if.................

Great to see the lad playing so well and obviously enjoying himself.

Like the old days. Mind you, the way he still throws his arms out whenever he goes round/past someone, it's only time before some ref sends him off for elbowing. Even 10 years ago I didn't understand how he got away with shoving people, arms whirling everywhere.Still, more power to his elbow. (ouch!)

Love the lad to bits - great player, but largely unfulfilled, sadly. There was a rumour recently on another board - emanating from Liverpool apparently - that Gazza was holding preliminary discussions with BR about coming back to the Toon for one season.
Can't see it, but it would be great fun.
