I wouldn't be so presumptious Mr Mungomag. What with the bad weather, the terrible state of the pitch and the Smog on the Tees, I think ManUre's lawyers have been called to a meeting on Monday morning with the expectation that they will appeal the result. Video evidence is certainly likely to be produced (some might suggest over-produced) to sway things Taggart's way.

It's also expected that the small print on Steve McLaren's contract will be scrutinised and should reveal a clause which disallows ManUre from ever being beaten by a team he manages. The case for the defence is likely to be based on the fact that on the evidence so far this season, McLaren hasn't managed a bliddy thing.

I fear this one has a long way to go before the final judgement. Word at the bar is that they could even get a bye stright thru to the final to avoid them playing too many games which would interfere with the CL and Premiership.
