Hello, I am about to purchase a black female puppy form a breed (Standard). I have communicated with a few breeders but I don't have a sense of price. Is 900.00 about average? This one breeder said she was no longer part of the AKC because she and others felt that htey were not discriminating enough and she said that they foster the puppy mills by allowing anyone to register. She said she was with the --is it WWC? This sounded reasonable to me. Am I wrong? Should I ask her for puppy owner references? Thank you so much!
