glowing double exposures

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Pentax 67 SLR : One Thread

Sorry, my previous message was sent too soon by mistake... To continue, to try this method on the P 67, you have to have double exposure capability on the 67 by having the camera modified for double exposure (Pentax will do it), or the 67 II model already has the capability. 1) Set up as normal w/tripod, cable release, etc 2) Take the first shot as normal, focused 3) Take the second exposure (on the same frame) racked out of focus, the degree of which you'll have to experiment (even just a few degrees will do). 4) In terms of exposure, underexpose each frame so the end result won't be overdone. -1/2 EV is a good start. Check it out, its a refreshing change to the stigma of always striving for razor sharp images, the results can be awesome especially for macro work of flowers. mark smith
