I erected a single 'steaders board

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Beyond the Sidewalks : One Thread

With my re-entry into no mans land and the surfacing of the eligible 'steaders on the CS board, I accomodated the request to establish a board geared to single 'steader concerns here on Lusenet. Its listed as A Country Singletree. Currently its an open board. Everything will be played by ear. BTS and CS are still my main bases, just thought this could be an aid for singles.

Yeah, I know I'm not single or looking to be, but I dropped over to wish Jay and the others Good Luck on their endeavor!

I set it up to give a better focused forum for the single issues and to aleviate the "non homesteading related" flow at CS a mite. I plan to still hang here except when I have to do admin (I'm programming the Phoenix to handle most of it through text scanning).

The name is really cool Jay!

I figured "singletree" was a good play on words for "dirt farmers like us :>) and it is what a single harness needs to pull a wagon.

Polly,

You can always drop in to give us encouragement ....AND you can see pictures of Cabin Fever at his cabin and on his boat! How many boards can boast of something like that. :>)

I'll get back over there soon, see what's going on . . . but . . . . I'm single, but since I'm not really homesteading (and don't know if I ever will be) and I'm not really looking for a guy (or gal for that matter), I'm not sure that I'm the target member! ;- )

Joy,

There are no "target members". Half of em are staying hid anyway, coming out to make a fast post and hide again :>) I am migrating some good info from the other boards there to get them a little talkitive on common subjects though. Some of the folks might be candidates for here also, so please feel free to check out the posts there.
