Happy for a friend

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

A friend of mine just had an offer accepted on a 19 acre parcel north of town here. She is SOOO happy! I'm going to see it this weekend but from what I understand it's just gorgeous. There's a half acre pond in front with a little beach area. The house itself is only eight years old and yet has the character she wanted. Her husband gets a pole barn he's always wanted and over 16 acres of woods to hunt. There's nowhere to go with this, I just wanted to share it.

I'm like you, were just happy when someones dream comes true. Wish we could all go with you to see it.

Man, it is really rare when BOTH partners get exactly what they are looking for in one piece of property. From your description, this does sound like one outstanding piece of land; I hope your friend is really happy living there.

Sounds great, we would love to have a pond!

Gary, I'm happy for your friends! I'm like Melissa. Wish we had a pond. We do have one out back but the cattle use it so it's not very pretty. I'd like one in front of my house! We have talked about it but are just too stingy I guess to let loose of the money to have one built. Maybe some day!
