AOL has a news item appearing today that features a NOVA interview with Dr. John Mack, MD who is a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. The link below will take you to the NOVA home page and you can click on the interview with John Mack. This is a good site to explore current statements made about UFO's and abductions.

There are both positive and negative viewpoints offered. John Mack offers his own results after many years of research. You may remember that Dr. Steven Greer, MD is also trying to awaken the public to this matter. Unfortunately there are also some people with good credentials that have chosen to debunk, discredit, belittle, or otherwise outright reject any explanations beyond hallucinations or brain disorders. That is why Dr. John Mack's statements are so important. His field is psychiatry and the testing of people for mental problems.

I was looking forward to attending Greer's Boston seminar this past October, along with a few TB doomerites, but it was cancelled, perhaps because it was too soon after 9/11 (or they couldn't find a place with public parking...). The MUFON guy was on Art Bell last evening, I may catch the archive.

Sar, sure, go ahead and post these links. As far as headway is concerned, it just is not yet time for "official" government admissions about their inside knowledge of the UFO situation. There is just so *much* they will have to own up to, and explain to the public now. The Col. Philip Corso book alone creates big problems for our government.

He tells the story of how he personally was in charge of getting certain UFO recovered technology into the hands of those corporations that were capable of secretly working on it. These were companies that had past experience and contracts to do "black projects" for the government. Some of the technology that Col. Corso mentions includes lasers, fiber optics, microprocessors, night vision, and the extraordinary "skin" samples that cover the outer surface of the UFO's. No way do these companies now want to admit that they didn't actually invent these things but merely reverse engineered them.

While there are apparently some permitted leaks going on about UFO's, the general mood in both government and the military/industrial complex is to deny that there have been either bodies or craft recovered, let alone any meetings and/or agreements with ET's in the past. So, it doesn't surprise me anymore that even when someone like Dr. Greer is ready to present 100's of credible witnesses that Congress isn't interested in opening that door.

One of my biggest disappointments is with people such as Carl Sagan. There are just too many stories about his deep involvement in various government projects, including some at Area 51, involving ET technology. Yet he publicly maintained a ridicule attitude until the very end. Shame on him for engaging in such deception.
