Answers

If you are speaking of any passenger train, then the final Southern Crescent in 1979 would be the answer. Salisbury was ( and still is I believe) a crew change point for passenger trains. From about 1975 to 1979, the Crescent was the only train to stop in Salisbury, after the Piedmont and Asheville Special trains were eliminated.
