Is it worth to go to Singapore especiallly for the buying of this 24-120 mm nikkor lens? And is it adviced to buy it in the airport store boone? I am going to Bangkok so i would make just one single stop to buy my lens, i don't have the intention to visit Singapore.And could somebody tell me the price of this item?And perhaps somebody knows a good way to travel cheap to Singapore from Bangkok. thank you

Hi Bart, most airport stores charge high prices for any item. I am a Canon user so I can't tell you the price of the item you mentioned but to fly down all the way to Singapore to buy it in the Airport store is definitely not worth it.

What I can tell you is that if you are going to Bangkok go to a place called MBK Shopping center. There is a relatively large store selling camera equipment there. I believe it's on the 3rd or 4th floor. Maybe you can ask around if you're there. I bought a SLIK mini tripod there cheap.
