MPEG Problem

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I have a problem with my ATI All In Wonder 128, when i try to capture Video From my Handycam in MPEG format it's looks like OK. But the problem is, the VCD creator didn't recognize this format and must be re encode using MPEG Encoder to fix this problem.

How can i set the Mpeg file output in ATI All In Wonder 128 to get the best MPEG which can be use to produce VCD's directly to VCD creator?

Thank You.

www.pcphotovideo.com has some suggestions for making VCDs with the same ATI card you have. Make sure you have the proper settings for VCD when you record and be aware that you may have to demux/remux using TMPGenc anyway. Some versions of MMC (the ATI recording software) may not use a VCD template during recording, so you will have to demux/remux using TMPGenc if that's the case.
