Just a quick rant:

Now Robbie Elliott is saying we can win the title.

Why are our players going on about whether they'll win the title or not? It sounds to me like they're getting their heads filled with grand dreams and not focussing on winning the next match.

I'm not saying they can't win the PL, of course they can. I just think they're putting pressure on themselves by going on about it. Let's just focus on the task at hand.

Anyone else feel the same?

Do we have decent competition in any slot? Maybe Centre back. The rest are assured a starting 11 if fit.

Possibly goalkeeper but that's about it. I do know what you mean though, when I look at our substitutes bench I think that we have a good set of erm substitutes. I certainly wouldn't be confident of winning if Bernard, Lua x2 and Ameobi started the same game.

I wasn't there on Saturday but I'm not surprised. From memory, I can only recall one good game (Leeds at home) and a few moments when RE has played well thus season (the thru ball for Bellamy's goal against Villa and the goal at Leeds). His distribution is utter sh!te. I'm not expecting the accuracy or vision of a Beckham from a LB, but it would be nice if he could find a player in a B&W shirt once on a while (particualry one who is still on the pitch). However, YBR seems determined to louse-up my TeamPick by continually picking him :-(

I agree we need another left back to put pressure on Elliott's position, but we might as well face it he's there to the end of the season.

If he was carrying a knock I bet his distribution would improve from the laws of averages.

If we don't sort out left back we'll end up with a left wing problem as well - Robert will get p*ssed off and bugger off to pastures new.
