Just a thought

I see this happen every once in a while here, and I think that one small change could save a lot of hurt feelings. It seems like whenever someone feels very strongly about something, they really want to come on strong with an answer! Which is entirely natural.

Sometimes as I have said before it is not what you say, it is how you say it! Like instead of saying "you" should do this, or believe this, or change this...instead try I believe this, I think this, if it were me I would do this.

Just this one small change can make such a difference in the reception your post receives, and also increases the likelihood (sp?)that it will stay around. I am not naive enough to believe that everyone will agree. I am however hopeful that we can reach common ground. When you call others hurtful names there is no hope that the post will stay, thus others have no opportunity to learn from the post and responses either.

Sometimes we all need to read over what we have written, and think... Is this kind, helpful, informative, loving, considerate??? You may really think the other person is dreadfully wrong, silly, stupid (sorry) whatever, but what is the point of saying it??

I realize that some people will still not do this, but I hope that most will, and most of you already do!

Thanks to all!
