She was watching me out of the corner of her eye as I entered the Speedline, so when I got settled I raised the camera and she replied with this look. She didn't seem to mind...too much...so I took more. But, as usual, the first one came out the best. Was wondering if this happens the same way with any of you...the first is the best.

first being best, yea thats happened to me.... its fun to see what people will do when shooting them.... after a while you get to know who you can shoot easily, and who wont like it at all....shes suspicious of you, but thats natural i s'pose.... you're scary lookin anyway... :)

Good shot. In such a situation, I agree that "that look" is usually the best. What follows, if they don't look away, is usually a put-on smile or an annoyed scowl. Annoyed scowls can also be interesting, but I usually take them as a sign to photograph something else.

Tom, you should really put away the trench coat and Groucho glasses/nose/mustache. You might not get that look.Nice shot, too.

Good shot. Hope you got her name and phone number. She looks like a keeper.
