Well Melissa if your are logged in today PLEASE talk some trash.

I removed snow in the neighborhood, and didn't even mind missing the first 10 minutes.

Had I watched with Elvis back to his interception give aways again, I would have felt even worse.

At least Pitt. missed that field goal. Hard to kick from that close dof a distance. Can they hold them to 10 points.............

Well it's now a 17 point spread. Wahhhhh!

We need at least i TD to go into halftime.

A little known fact, I've been told, per Elvis' contract he must start each game, provided he is healthy. He has played the entire first half of all games he has started, never put on the bench till the second half. That is sad for us.

Looks now a fumble at the Pitt. 30 yd line.

blah.

Hey Rick! Still 20-3 at the end of the 3rd quarter! gotta go watch some more!

Rick, you're just feeling what we felt for so long here in the Kansas City (go CHIEFS!) region when we were stuck with Elvis for so long! We were sure glad to see him go. Sorry your guys got stuck with him.

Our beloved Chiefs had a cruddy year, but they started coming around the last half of the season. With so many new guys and a new coach, it wasn't easy - but things look good for next year, so WATCH OUT! :- )

I watched the first 3 quarters and got very bored watching the Steelers CREAM the Ravens..what is the matter with Baltimore's offensive line today? I was embarrased for them since they usually put on a much better performance..they all look tired or something..not a good footbll game at all. Sorry Ravens fans...

Cheryl, thanks for the condolences. I did not realize where Grbac came from. It wasn't all his fault.

As Lesley poined out, the whole line looked bad. Receivers just weren't making receptions.

Steelers played a great game.

Sorry about my error above, should have been at the beginning of the 3rd, as by the end the Ravens had scored again... Sorry Rick, but I do believe Pittsburgh has a shot!

Rick, KC Chiefs fans are extremely loyal and ALWAYS root for the Chiefs, no matter how the season is going. Elvis Grbac was the only exception I know of. He was very much disliked here in KC. Fans would actually BOO him and yell things like, "Hey Elvis - go buy a vowel!" (That's about the only one I can print here....) It's just unheard of here in KC for fans to BOO a player! The other players didn't like him either, which made for a bad combo. I once heard him tell a sports reporter, who was asking him about his poor performance after a game, "Well, I can't THROW the ball and CATCH it, too!" DH and I decided it would have been a more accurate statement if he'd just left that last bit out.... He can't throw the ball! At least not to players wearing the same color jersey as he's in! LOL! :-) I really don't know how he gets those contracts.

ANYWAY.... better luck next year!

"Better luck next year"

Do you mean we only had him for a one year contract???

All kidding aside, I heard that the confidence level was so low, that the other players weren't very receptive to Grbac's plays, and there was a lot of infighting.
