Leeds 1-1 Arse

Great result for us (and Scum U). Pretty boring game, not very well played. Not many bookings. Freddie Ljungberg injured when Wilcox landed on his leg.

With all these injuries Leeds dont have a very impressiv team, at least not the midfield. Wilcox, Batty, Johnson and Bowyer.

Perfect result. Now we remain 2nd!

Before the match yesterday i wanted 3 points from leicester, 1 from tottenham and 6 from the following two home games. 'd sayta would have us TOTL.

Because we got the draw at Leicester, we could do with beating Tottenam instead and we should be right back on track.

ooops

*I'd say that would have us top of the league*

dunno what happened there, I'm not being aggresive enough with my keys.

I agree about that midfield Sudden. For the 2nd week in a row, Bowyer has looked decidedly average. He did nowt at SJP last weekend and I didn't see much today. Talk about an England squad place is surely wide of the mark. However, IMHO, their most dangerous player (in the footballing sense!) has been missing. Wilcox did OK, but he's not as good as Kewell. F***er took his goal well and looks a bit sharper thee days. Defo a chance of WC squad - hopefully at Heskey's expense.

Yeah, what they need is a dynamic, energetic, creative midfielder like Keiron Dyer.

Oops! Better not start that again!

All we can do is just try and keep winning as many games as we can. I suspect one of the top 6 will need to put a run together the last 6 games of the season, like we did 96/97.

Yeh, poor game - at least partly caused by the gale force wind - in which Arsenal played 90% of any decent footy.

Leeds had one shot (actually header) on target in the entire game, and that nice striker, Mr. Verruca, has his usual quota of no goals, no shots, no headers, and one elbow in an opponents face - for which he will hopefully receive a thre match ban when the FA look at the video evidence.

For Leeds, I thought Woodgate played well, Johnson and Batty 'spoiled' well against Viera in m/f and stopped him influencing things, and Fowler looked sharp. For Arsenal, Pires looked the best player on the field - except for an unfortunate tendency to fall over when any of the opposition came within a yard of his body!

Best result for us, but also unfortunately for ManU.

I wouldn't be unhappy for Man Utd to win....they gave everyone a chance and when no-one took it started playing again :)) they're still the best team about....
