No match reports yet then?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
We looked poor on the tv it has to be said. Concerned from reading different reports that Dyer took a knock and seemed to be limping for a while. Anyone know anything. The Soccernet report is very disrespectful towards Bobby - read it if you get the chance. Calls him a 'senile old pensioner'.. Good professional journalism that.
Well the press' love affair with the Toon lasted all of 3 games I think.

Was hoping by now there'd be a few reports up. Surely we weren't that bad. ;-)Just about to check out press reports. An early report on Sporting Life this afternoon seemed pretty fair.

Yep, that Soccernet report is a fekkin' disgrace. None of the usual affectionate ribbing of YBR's rambling and malapropisms: just nasty personal insults. He might as well go the whole hog and call YBR "p!ssy pants".
If I've can claw through a bastard hangover to put on my html head, then the report should be here for your delectation. Might be best for once if the link doesn't work though.

Just skimmed that report. What a disgrace. It's so bad the 'person' who wrote it has to use an alias - the insider. Insider my arse more like a mackem if you ask me.

We played very poorly but then so did Leicester. 'The Premiership' coverage of our game was nothing short of a disgrace. They showed everything Leicester created but failed to show any of the scrambling defence Leicester had to do for a good 15-20 minutes as we piled on the pressure at their end. Also, I hate Savage but you've got to admire his work-rate. Bid for him when they're relegated ?

If only he could thrown in a pit with wild dogs the moment after contracts.

Yeah, that'd be typical, we'd make a bid for him and Leeds would instantly be interested. So you reckon that wild bunch will sign him then ?
