greenspun.com : LUSENET : Everything About Teaching and Learning the Piano : One Thread

Hi. Does anybody know how to get hold of notes for piano for, for example Sting songs or Dave Matthews Band etc. Are there any good sites at witch I can print them?

I would be really glad If somebody wote me back Anders 18-01-02 Sweden.

Sorry, but most of what you're looking for is copyrighted and not freely available on the internet. If you're pretty tech-savvy, you might be able to find MIDI files and convert them over to readable notation.

If you can read chord charts, then you might also have better luck looking for guitar tablature. The guitar community has a lot more pop music stuff (it's hard to copyright a chord progression!)

Good luck!

You might check out sunhawk.com. They specialize in delivering digital sheet music, and I think they carry a lot of pop music.

Hi, I went to the sunhawk site and found lots of good stuff. It does cost, but that's ok. Then I don't feel like I'm cheating anyone. You can pre-view what you are looking for to see if it is really what you wanted. and it is so very much faster than trying all the music stores, and then having them order. Thanks for the info.
